How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Really, before receiving this my last transfer, I had the goal of plastering the floor and upgrading my house front porch. It is something I have long wish to do, but due to no money I could not. I work with the Fen River community clinic as vaccinator. I live in this house with my wife and three children. Improving my house has been my long time plan and this my last transfer as seriously help me.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The money received from GiveDirectly has brought changes in my life. I did not expect to have received such an amount that I never work for. Like me, there are a lot that GD has done and is doing. For things done unwell by GD, I have not seen any and not aware of such thing.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have bought ten bags of cement to plaster my house floor, the front porch and pay for the workmanship for the improvement of my house. It has really been my plan to improve my house conditions. So I am very happy for getting on GD's program to be able to accomplish this my long goal.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My house have been in total darkness since I built it. Due to this, my children have been founding it very difficult to study their lessons at night and it has been causing them lower grades in school. I was planning to buy a solar panel for business purposes and also for the used of current in my home. There have been no way out to achieve this plan because there is no finance. This will help my children to be able to study their lessons to make a fruitful future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am very very much astonish but happy for what GiveDirectly has done for me. For what I have seen for myself since the coming of GiveDirectly, there have been nothing that is not done well by GiveDirectly. I say this because I have noticed that GiveDirectly can do everything possible to reach out to every deserving households in my communities in my town and also making sure on their eligibility during the enrolment process.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Taking my family from darkness has been my priority. I have not been sleeping in a good bed also. My mattress had been very flat. I used portion of my transfer to buy solar panels 300W and it's battery and converter. I also used portion of it to buy a very big size mattress because I have slept in cold and flat bed for many years. Once my remaining transfer comes, I do other developments on my house that will beautify it more.

My greatest joy today is receiving Givedirectly in my community. I am over joyed and also surprise of the good news I am hearing from Givedirectly.
