"My life is different in that, I have boosted my small business and paid my sister's tuition. In the past, my retail shop was worth Ugx 25000 but after receiving the transfer; I boosted it with Ugx 500000 which has subsequently increased my daily sales hence more income is generated. This in turn helps me to meet my family needs like feeding and clothing with ease as opposed to the past. In addition, my sister had dropped out of school due to lack of money but she resumed school."

"I have managed to construct my own house back at home, thanks to GD transfers. For a very long time, I had wanted to build my own house but could not due to little income that could barely take care of my own personal needs here in the city. Having no hoise back at home also prevented me from frequently visiting my parents as I should have because I had problems with sleeping in my neighbour's house whenever I visited. My once small business has also grown, thanks to the transfers that enabled me to expand it. I am now making better more profits which I will soon use to start another business. All these would not have been possible without GD and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the project."

"When I receive this money, I will renovate and complete some parts of our house. Our house is not in a good condition and rats have invaded part of it which makes it very dusty. I will also buy a cow that will help in milk production because at our age, there is not much we can do apart from having a good nutrition. So the milk from this cow will be mainly for home consumption."
