"The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now own goats. I  settled in keeping them because they have numerous benefits. They also reproduce faster compared to any other domestic animal. Their pasture is also readily available because they can stay in any kind of climate. They also require little supervision's this meaning apart from rearing them, I can also do some other stuff. My plan is when they reproduce I will be selling the offsprings when they mature so that I can be able to pay some school fees for my son without any difficulties. I will also be getting some manure from them which will help my farm to be more productive. Generally, I believe my living standard will also improve because of these goats"

"I spent part of my first transfer on buying some building materials such as iron sheets, building poles, nails, and timber. I decided to build a new house because the previous one was small and with a grass-thatched leaky roof. We used to suffer a lot during the winter seasons because we would always be rained on. Also, I purchased some new school uniforms for my children who are in primary and secondary schools. In addition, I cleared their school fees arrears so that they can study without disturbances. With the remaining amount of money, I am using it in buying enough foodstuffs for my family."

"The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am now a proud owner of dairy cows and a goat. I have been yearning to keep them in my compound but I could not afford them. Therefore for all that long I have been admiring my neighbors and promised myself to own some in the near future. Currently, I am getting plenty of milk and my children are now healthy. Before the coming of GiveDirectly, I used to buy the milk from friends which sometimes I could not afford because it was relatively expensive. I am now hopeful and happier because I am even planning to sell the remaining liters to my neighbors and generate an income. I am certain that this will enable me to pay school fees for my children without straining."
