What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I am a widow of two children and I do casual jobs for survival. I make little money which caters for food . I have had the desire to have fresh tap water at home but due to lack of money I have not done it. I will use $1500 to install fresh tap water at my home for home use and for business as well. I will also use $11000 to buy solar panels for home use. I currently stay in dark rooms during night hours and it is a risk especially at times when there is a lot of grass around.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My family has been going without food due to lack of income. However, in December last year my daughter who works at the coastal towns came home for the Christmas and new year festival. She brought shopping and we celebrated with a family. The celebration brought happiness in my life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
A reliable source of income is the challenge I am currently facing in life. I do casual jobs and most times I go without any job. This has made the family go without food and sometimes we lack even money to buy water from the water point in the village.
