What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying food, one bag of maize, I also bought Iron sheet, polls, nails and a steel door that I used in building a new house, I also started a business that generates for me income
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because I was able to build a new house and I was also able to start up a business that now acts as my main source of income
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What Give Directly has done well is improving people's lives through sending cash directly to their recipients, without any payments expected in return and I don't see what Give Directly hasn't done well

What did you spend your second transfer on?
Most of my second transfer I have kept aside to be used later to buy building materials and pay laborers who will be building my house, I also bought one sack of maize for my family's consumption and restocked my business.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life is different in that my business was at the verge of collapsing and I did not have any other source of income, but now am very happy because I have restocked my business and will soon start to build my new house.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy 3 iron sheet for 2500 KES, then i bought a sack of maize for 2800 KES, i also spent 2000 to buy clothes for my children and the remaining 2700 KES i spent to buy food for my family.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to spend my upcoming transfer to build a better and neat house. Pest normaly attack me on my current grass thatched house

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I would like to use part of the money to build our own house because we do not have any house. Secondly l would wish to buy a cow which will help us in future. Lastly l would like to use the rest of the money to buy household items.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that we have struggled and bought two iron sheets and poles to help us build our house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship in life is lack of money to seek medical attention incase of any emergency.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is during lunch time when I am able to provide food for my family.
