What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying school fees for my daughter in secondary school. The remaining I spent on buying a cow for milking.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different is in that I am able to keep my daughter in school. My brother have been helping me in paying her school fees payment and its like he was almost being overwhelmed and I feared my daughter dropping out. GiveDirectly just came at the right time. I am thankful.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well by giving cash as they promise. I have not seen anything they do not do well.

I spent my second transfer on buying food, cushions, two tables, two sets of sofa seats, I also bought Iron sheet, nails, a steel door and polls that I used in building a new house

The biggest difference in my life is that I was able to build a new house because my previous house was a thatched roof house

Am planning to spend my upcoming transfer on constructing a house since I have a old thatched house and pay school fee for my daughter having done well in her National O'level examination.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We have planned to build a much better house with iron roof and then I will buy some furniture for my house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that we have a roof over our head and the farming that we do gives us good produce.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Our biggest hardship is lack of employment,it has made our life so difficult that we had so send some of our children to some relatives who live far away because we can not afford to take them to school and provide meals as required.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of our day is when we come back in the evening and we are able to share a meal together.
