How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed alot in that I can now pay for my medical bills and buy food for my family compared to the past where I was stressed about medical bills, lack of food and other necessities. This cash transfer also helped me pay for my children's school fees. Life was very difficult because I could not afford to even hire a farm land for farming.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to give nin conditional cash transfers that have enabled us to support our famiies. In my opinion there is nothing wrong that GiveDirectly has done. However I would request if GiveDirectly could come back and add us more money so as to uplift us more.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent all my second transfer of UGX 1,600,000 to top up and purchase a motorcycle.
