How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am Jenneh Morris from Sammie town, Bomi County Liberia. Since I started receiving cash transfer from Givedirectly, I decided to renovate my house and buy a new mattress.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly helped me renovated my house and today I am sleeping in a decent place. If it was not Givedirectly cash transfer at this time I would have been in a damage house. I am so excited and want to extend thanks to Givedirectly and the contributors of the cash that has change my house from old to new. Givedirectly did well in this village and three is no bad news. I am happy and won't forget this cash transfer program easily.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am lucky for Givedirectly to send me money, I want to continue to pay my only son school fees until he can graduate and go to college and use the remaining to do business. The business will help me gain more profits that will provide school fees for my son and to complete the house my late husband left with me. Now I am only depending on subsistence farming since my husband died almost nine years ago. I have been struggling with my son school fees. Any help that Givedirectly will give me will really make me happy.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What makes me happy in the past six months is that my grand daughter was an honor role student of the A. B. Ketteh Public Elementary school this year. She has been dux twice both last academic calendar year and this year. I only have one son and to see his daughter becoming a wonderful scholar makes me very happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship facing me now is money business to support my son and finish my house. Since my husband died and left the house unfinished, I have been fighting to finish but no money. The small money I get from the farming work is not enough to pay my son school fees and finish my house. Therefore, any help that Givedirectly will help me with will bring me happiness.
