How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in I have acquired my own oxen, I will now be ploughing in time, I have paid off mortgage and I have got back my farm land.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly did well to give me money that I used for buying the oxen and a solar panel, there is nothing they are not doing well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for buying livestock at UGX 980,0000, food at UGX 300,000, clothes at UGX 100,000, I saved UGX 253,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I didn't have what to graze but now i can wake up in the morning, go take care of my livestock and i have a lot of happiness in my heart.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy and i couldn't sleep back and went to wake up my mother to confirm whether she had also received money. I had to keep calm at that point till it was morning to go and collect my transfer.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my transfer as follows; I bought two cows @1500000 ugx, a mattress @ 110000 ugx and food @ 90000 Ugx.

Receiving this money means I will be able to buy a piece of land, marry a wife and settle.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am at the centre with other members of the community.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of money that would otherwise enable me to buy farm land and marry a wife.
