How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't have any New goals since I'm still working on building a better shelter for my family. We used to live in a house that had thatches as it's roof. The house was not in a good condition as it's roof was rotten and would leak during raining season. When I started receiving transfer funds from GiveDirectly I decided to build a better shelter for my family. When I received my first and second transferred I prioritize purchasing four bundles of roofing sheets, since the roofing sheets was so expensive. Now, I'm fully prepared to start building my house. I have already purchased the planks and nails in full and I'm awaiting the contractors who will start the construction work.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly is doing well in providing cash assistance to poor people. With her direct cash transfer approach I believe GiveDirectly will make more impact.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Since I long planned on building a better house, especially a house that is fully covered with iron sheets, when I received my most recent transfer I bought additional building materials and save the remaining portion to pay the contractors who will do the construction work.
