What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer 1,500,000 ugx on paying back the money that was used to marry me in form of getting back land. Then used the balance to buy food to feed my family and clothes for chrismas for my children

Give Directly has helped and picked me from a very poor state to a better state because most of my financial problems was solved. It has also brought in joy and love in my family

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used my first transfer for buying beddings,kitchen utensils, food and school uniforms for my children. I also got land on mortgage at 700,000UGX and paid debts.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When i got the mobile money message i was suprised. I told my husband to check the account balance, he confirmed that there was money on the phone.When i came out of the house i heard ululation in the whole village because they had also got the mobile money messages. I went to sleep with alot of hapiness in my heart.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference is that life is easy because i managed to acquire basic needs that i did not have before. I don't have presure from people who were demanding me their money.

My biggest hardship is lack of land to farm every year and that is causing great hunger in the family
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moment is during morning hours in aday when I sell "Ajono" local beer in my village that helps me realise money to feed my family and buy other items
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will help me to buy aplot of land and build iron roofed house that I can farm to get enough food and decent accommodation
