What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy sand, cement, timber, round poles, nails, cedar poles, aggregate, barbed wire and iron roofing sheets which I will use to establish my own homestead , build a house for my family and fence the piece of land where the homestead is situated.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having started a small business selling potato chips (crisps) at our local market. The money that I gained over the years enabled me to buy an ox last year, but I had some problems later on and to sell it.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of a sustainable source of income for myself. My business is a small scale venture so it doesn't pay much. I often have to borrow money from others and I fear that one day I may be unable to repay some loans and risk having my household items auctioned.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am selling my potato chips at the market. I usually get to meet many people and the atmosphere is always lively, this often makes me very happy.
