What did you spend your second transfer on?
When we received my first lumpsum transfer, we used 36000 KES for paying my dowry, I plastered the floor of my main house with 7000 KES and I invested the remaining 7000 KES in grocery and cereal shop.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have improved financially since GD enabled me open a shop that generates us more income and cater for our household basic needs, the biggest difference in my daily life.

I spent my token payment on buying steel doors and fixed them.I also added capital to my rice business.

I am planning to spend my upcoming lumpsum payment on my husband paying my dowry.I also want to build a shop for my business and plaster my house's floor

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We are planning to buy a few cows to be used to pay dowry, some of the money will also be used add some more stock for the little kiosk we run and also build a better structure for it.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is when I borrowed some money from my brother and started a small kiosk. I was then able to pay him back and now the kiosk is doing quite well, I have even increased my stock.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have is lack of a sustainable source of income for both myself and my spouse, we therefore have to survive on the little money we get from my kiosk and his income from the motorcycle taxi which is barely enough to support our family's needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am able to relax together with my family as we share a meal and talk about how our day has been.
