What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third on a house. I was able to finish my house with my third transfer because I was not able to finish the house with the second transfer.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I am now able to earn a daily income from my furniture workshop that I got from the transfer I received . This has improved my self-confidence among people.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, teaching us about the program at the beginning was good because it made us understand the program and sending the money directly to us was also good.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
Oh fine, Iron sheets, cement, mattress and bedsheets! I spent my first transfer on iron sheets and cement because i want 2bedroom house with iron sheets and cement from the one i have currently, which is grass-thatched and very small for my family. I also bought a mattress and bedsheets since I did not have them. I am glad!
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I saw a mobile money message from GiveDirectly on my phone and I was very happy for receiving free and unconditional money for my life improvements.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on building a metal house because getting grass to maintain my roof is now too hard and the remaining balance I will use it to buy some livestock.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having been able to pay my tuition at the college when I was studying machinical engineering.

The biggest hardship I am facing currently is lack of daily income to sustain my life and future development.
