How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I'm Planning to complete my house project. I even bought some gas to saw my planks.I just pay my big son graduation feed from this same transfer. I'm thinking about starting a new business to help me. I was only depending on farming to survive. With givedirectly transfer I'm about to have very descent house. I also pay for my balance zinc that I'm going to complete my house with and fews nails.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is really doing great things for me. Givedirectly is one NGO that i really give them credit in their job. They are very transparent in theirs work as a NGO in Liberia. They don't discriminate between people.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I did not know that money was in my phone until one of the community dwellers came from the next community and told me that people in that community have received their payments. When he had told me that, I left my house and went to the place we usually get connected to the network. Luckily for me upon my arrival there, I received an alert on my phone that I have received forty thousand three hundred seventy five dollars from GiveDirectly. It was like heaven has come down to me in this suffering world. I was the one now even helping to spread the news so that others can go and check if their payments have been sent with joy in me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
To sleep under a roof that is covered with zinc from the day of my birth till now I have not experienced it. Therefore, the biggest difference in my daily life since I started recieving payments from GiveDirectly is that I will now be sleeping under a roof that is covered with zinc instead of thatch. Also, with portion of my money, I am now able to solve some other problems I could not have solved easily when I did not had money available.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I did spend my most recent transfer on zinc and mattress. I have a house that is currently in a very deplorable condition. At the back, this gone rainy season caused the walls to fall because the roof no longer holds the rain waters as compare to when the thatch covering it is new; therefore, I have decided to build a new house for my family and I. I am so happy that I have this money. I am going to use it wisely so that the day GiveDirectly leaves I will have something to show.
