How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The greatest change in my life is that, I am healthier because I acquired enough food nutrients through this support since I have HIV/AIDS. Prior to this transfers, my immunity was very low because I did not eat a balanced diet due to inability to dig and acquire adequate food.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has supported vulnerable people like me with unconditional cash transfer which have improved on my immunity through eating a balanced diet. It's difficult to find gaps in GiveDirectly operations.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my cash transfer worth UGX 460,000 for buying a bull to support in ploughing. We use bulls for animal traction in order to simplify farming. I bought a bicycle worth UGX 250,000 to support in transport for the family. I paid school fees of UGX 350000 for my three children. I paid a debt of UGX 350,000, bought food of UGX 147,000 and the balance of UGX 75,000, I spent on feeding.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I feel so strong nowadays because I feed on anything that my heart desires since I'm a sick person living with HIV/AIDS.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy when the money entered my phone and I just kept calm because I did not want to get a heart attack.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought household items @140000ugx, a cow @700000ugx, a bicycle @220000, a bag of maize @60000ugx, a radio @30000ugx, gave madam 40000ugx, feeding 210000ugx and saved 300000ugx.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to retrieve the piece of land that I leased, build an iron roofed house for my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the noon time when my children are playing.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is inadequacy of farm land since I leased a bigger portion.
