How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have bought fertiliser in advance that will be used for farming period between 2021 to 2022. Fertiliser has always been my worry every farming period because it's very expensive but also very important. I have always wanted to go into commercial farming but agricultural inputs has always been my biggest set back. GD cash transfer has given me the opportunity to start my dream. I am seeing myself supplying rice in the next few years
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
By giving us unconditional cash transfer, I saw that GD did that well cause everyone was able to do what he/she has always wish to do.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought iron sheets, matress, fertiliser and maize. I have saved up some money that will be used to pay for door frames, window frames and other building materials.
