What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I plan to clear for my two children who are at school and soon completing which will take USD1351 so that they can settle to read books well and perform excellently in order for them to more chances of completing in a job market and live good life when they get jobs. I will also use the balance of USD540 to purchase to bulls for rearing which will make us more money after some time and invest other ventures.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Having harvested some beans and maize, I was able to get food for my people and this really saved us for some period of three months. Something that made me happy because I spent some without thinking of how to get food for my people.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am currently facing the challenge of struggling to raise school fees for my daughter who is Tororo Girls Secondary school in senior four and the son at Uganda Christian University where I have sold many plots of land and we are left with only one plot of land hence hindering us from having cultivation leading to few sources of food. I also face a problem of water which affects our house whenever it rains and with this, we even lack to sleep when it happens putting us in hard life. Poverty has also hit my family in that we can not raise capital to start up even a small business which can earn us daily income in order to meet basic needs easily.
