How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because l now have comfortable seats that l did not know that one day I would have in my life.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have any new goal a part from paying dowry to my in laws.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, l now have very comfortable seats to sit on as compared to before, when l could be embarrassed to invite people in my house, because there was nothing comfortable to sit on. I now have hope of paying dowry to my in laws and this will enable my spouse to come back and we stay as a family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months l expect to have paid dowry to my in laws and to reunite with my spouse.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I did not have a lot of things in life but because of the transfers I was able to buy M-kopa lamp.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life is to change for the best.I shall have bought livestock for rearing to get milk and financial support for my family as I can sell them later.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Due to the transfers, I was able to buy doors,windows,bed,mattress,solar lamp,maize for family consumption and school uniform for my child and paid their school fees too.I can say I almost fulfilling my dreams.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I've faced in life is being unable to provide for my family, this sometimes force my family to go without food, clothing and medication.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning, mostly this is the time I receive calls from friends inviting me for payable work.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer to buy construction tools, do a little improvement on my house and pay school fees for my children.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is successfully learning how to construct houses, I'm so happy that I can build a nice house from foundation to roofing.
