What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
The first thing we are planning is to renew our house and it will cost $150, the other thing is that we will buy a piece of land for growing food crops so that we can have enough food for my family, the land will cost $250. We will also by a cow in order to get enough manure to put in our lands so that they become more productive, the cow will cost $200. The rest of money will be used to cover other household needs like mattresses, clothes, health insurance, school items for my children such as uniforms and notebooks and some food stuffs. All of those will cost $210.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Nothing special happened to us in last 6 months, but in our daily life when we have something to eat, when there is body lotion to put on our body after taking bath , it makes me feel happy. For me when I wake up in the morning to go to work and I get the chance to get the money honestly speaking I return home with a smiling face because the money is a solution to many household needs including buying food, clothes, school items for my children. Said the husband.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge we are facing is that our house is damaged it has wholes in the walls since last year and we are afraid that anytime it can fall down. The other challenge is that we have insufficient land for growing crops and because of that we don't produce enough from it ,hence insufficient food for my family. Lastly, 6 months ago we have sold our cow and we did so because we needed money to buy a piece of land and when we see the the cow bridge in which it used to stay we feel like we wish to put another one for replacement.
