I have no goal as of now. I just want to concentrate more on school fees payment for my three children in secondary school and ensure their studies are not interrupted from being sent home because of unpaid school fees.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am able and assured of providing daily meals for my family because of the monthly transfers. I always buy enough food whenever I receive money. I am also a proud owner of two goats that I bought over the last two months using the savings from the transfers. Goats reproduce and multiply fast, and this, I figured will give returns within a short period of time. I am so happy because of what GiveDirectly did for us.

My expectation in the near future is to have enough maize for consumption. I want to utilize my farm and ensure that I produce enough food that would take us through to the next harvesting season. This will reduce the huge expense that usually goes into the food. I also hope that my goats will have multiplied and that I can sell some in case I am faced with an emergency. Four months ago, there was a lot of famine in my are and hence the only source of income was to go to the forest to look for firewood for sale. I now have them in abundance both for sale as well as for my household consumption. This has enabled me to concentrate most on my farm as well as my vegetable selling business

My new goal for the next four months is that I am planning to purchase a goat for rearing. I thought it will be a good idea considering my transfers are approaching an end. The goat will not only multiply and increase my stock but will also serve as a good remembrance for the GD transfers. Besides, I plan to save some money to start buying tea in order to sell in a cooperative society

The biggest difference in my daily life is that as a parent, I am very happy having managed to enrol my daughter in a secondary boarding school. I couldn't manage to do this before because of my strained resources. The money I had earlier own received enabled me to pay for her school fees as well as shopped for her basic necessities. This is a great step in my life as I know that it will enable her to concentrate more in her studies as compared to if she was in a day school

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that my three children who are at secondary school have ample time to study because I have afforded to pay their school fees on time. Subsequently, I expect great academic performance from the less disturbed children. As a responsible parent, I feel happy to ensure I educate my children so that they may have a bright future. Thus, I have joined hands with my husband in raising fees by saving the money that we receive from GiveDirectly. Whereas, we utilize the income that we attain from casual work and the sale of firewood on purchasing food and other basic items for our family.

I expect my life to change significantly in the next six months. This is because one of my daughters who has completed her secondary school studies will have joined college to further her studies. Besides, I will be more confident about supporting my eight children as they pursue their studies because I will be owning more property, especially livestock. Still, I will have leased more land for farming as I reduce the amount of time that I will be spending handling casual work and fetching firewood from the forest.

My life is different because I have to build a new house. I was living in every old dilapidated house. I am about to complete the construction and this makes me very happy that I will be living in a descent.I have beeen also been able to take care of my girls needs in ordeer to bring them up very well.

In the past months, my life has changed since my children no longer stay at home due to lack of ods school fees.
