What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the second transfer to buy a plot of land worth 1,000,000 UGX and I also bought house hold items like chairs, a suitcase , and this transfer also enabled me to pay my children's school fees. I have a balance which is helping take care of my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
If it was not for Givedirectly, I would not have acquired my own land. I would still be begging people for land to cultivate. I am very happy that Givedirectly sent me this cash transfer.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is much better now than before when I had no land. I used to live like a stranger but when i received the cash transfer my life changed drastically, I feed well, I own my land where I can cultivate my crops without any worry.
