What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
A friend of mine loaned me a canoe to help me with fishing. When I receive this money, I will use $150 to clear 50% of the remaining balance and purchase ten fishing nets worth about $100. This is an investment that will supplement my family's income thus comfortably supporting my family of six.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I learned to fish this year in order to supplement my family's income. When I bought a new fishing net($5) 2 months ago, I was very happy that I became more productive in my work resulting in a better income and food for my wife and 4 children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I depend on keeping livestock to sustain my family of 6. Last year at the height of a prolonged drought, I lost about ten of my sheep before I sold the remaining fifteen for a throw away price. Without a firm footing to further support my family, we have slept hungry some of the days while my children have not had all the necessary requirements in school due to this lack of finances.
