What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to buy oxen, an ox-plough and a cow. This will improve food productivity in my home making it easier to provide for the family. With this, I believe that even if I die, I will have laid a basis for my children to start life from.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the morning when I wake up healthy. I am able to work and serve my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of oxen to support in the cultivation activity. I have a piece of land that would well support me in providing food for my household but I am not in position to fully utilise it because I don't have my own oxen. I have to hire each time I need to clear a given portion which is expensive for me. For seasons that I have not been able to hire, I use a small hoe for all my garden work which is not convinient.
