How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I have managed to pay school fees for my children and I have livestock which will support me in future. I could not have managed to pay school fees for my children if I never received the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well by helping us with money which has enabled us to building houses, buy Livestock and get treatment. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my second transfer on purchasing household goods /clothes at UGX 254,500, school requirements at UGX 120,000 , food (cassava flour,beans,rice) at UGX 73500 and there is a balance of 1,085,000 which I plan to spend on school fees.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I find it easy and simple to pay tuition for my children compared to the situation before I received the cash transfer.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my cash transfer, I felt suprised and filled with excitment.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfers for purchasing a cow worth 800,000ugx to act as an Income generating activity, I bought a mattress and bedsheets worth 160,000ugx to improve on my living conditions, a suit case of 98,000ugx and a bag of 40,000ugx. In order to provide light, I bought solar worth 100,000ugx and utensils of 20,000ugx. The balance of 482,000ugx, I want to use for paying tuition for my children.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means helping me to pay school fees for my children , helping me to buy land for my children since I have produced only boys. then if the balance remains ,I will use for buying oxygen for ploughing.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is always when I see that my children are not sick and there is food in the house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship which I have faced in my life is hardship in paying school fees for my children and sleeping in grassthacth house .
