How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The current difference I have is a foodstuff business which I started with part of my transfer. This has been my source of income which has helped me in feeding my family well. It has also given me an easy time fee payment on my side through the profits from the business by saving the little I get on a daily

I have no new goal but to focus mainly on my business, this is my main source of income thus it makes me support my family financially without straining so much.

How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have the resources needed to take my grandchild to college. I will want to save my transfers so that by the time my grandchild finishes secondary school, I have the money needed to cater for his college requirements.

The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving the money is that I feel relieved of meeting my household needs because I saved some little cash for emergency use.

In the next six months, I expect to have a stable income.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I feel so happy and proud whenever I get back to the house knowing that I now have a neat house having plastered it.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I have a new goal of buying a goat, I couldn't think of it because I couldn't afford it but now that I'll be getting money from GD, I believe I'll be able to buy.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have in life is lack of adequate income to take good care of my children because at times it is hard to even get enough food for the whole day.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon after going to the market and meet my friends and customers. This is the time that we make stories and I tend to forget about my burdens back at home.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on plastering my house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is that despite being a widow, I have managed to take good care of my children and grandchildren through doing casual work in the village.
