My goal is to buy improve the poultry-keeping initiative that I am now running. I will buy a wire mesh to fence the area surrounding the poultry house. this will keep them safe from predators and also stop them fro straying into other people's farms and cause destruction.

The biggest difference in my daily life is the poultry-keeping that started and expanding using the transfers. I am benefiting from selling eggs. I use the proceeds to meet my young children's very demanding needs of personal care products.

I expect to have increased my egg production from about 30 eggs to about 50 eggs per day. This will be sold to a certain trader that buys the eggs at a really good price of kES 20 per egg. This will get me about KES 1000 per day. With this, I will sort out my daily expenditure on food items and other family's personal needs.

My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I no longer do much of the casual jobs like I used to do before I have devoted some of my time to my own projects. My children are no longer sent home frequently because I pay their tuition fees on time.

My new goals for the next four month is to save the money from the sales of eggs to buy a goat. I had one before but I sold it to pay hospital bills for my child who was admitted at Tenwek hospital. This was really helpful because I did not have to borrow money to pay for hospital bills as it was the case before the transfers.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have started poultry keeping project. This project earns me a daily income when I sell eggs at the shopping center. I use the money to meet the daily needs of my family and also to pay part of the school fees for my children in primary school. I used to do casual jobs in the village and the payment was so small to the extent that It could not cater for both the basic needs and at the same time pay school fees for my children. Sometimes we could have two meals a day and my children could be sent home to collect school fees regularly. This is because I could not get the money on time and they were forced to stay at home longer time and this affected their performance. I'm so grateful for the support from GD because it has improved our living standard.

I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have saved enough money from my poultry projects and this will also enable me to buy a heifer. This has always been my dream and I know I will achieve it within the next six months. The heifer will help in milk production for sale and for consumption. It will also help increase the number of cows I own which is an investment for me.

My life is currently different because I have done so much on my farm especially fencing a portion of it. Without the last four transfers, I would not have gotten money to partition the land. I used the money that I had been saving to buy a fencing barbed wire and a binding wire that has helped me to fence off a portion that will be used to rear sheep that I will buy soon. Fencing the farm has become a good starting point. I am now free to go and do other things away from home and don't have to stay looking after the sheep. This has made my job easier.

I plan to buy sheep to the rear. I want to buy two so that I keep growing the investment to help me in the future.

The biggest difference in my daily life is having enough food for my family. The last transfer came at a time when my wife was due to deliver. I used the money as transport to the hospital where she safely delivered. I then used apart of the money to buy other provisions including clothing for the newborn. I am so happy that these transfers have become part of a good start for my child.

In the next six months, I will be having sheep in order to keep them on my farm. The sheep multiply quickly and this is a way of making money.

I am happy that even as i work hard to provide for my family, i have a helping hand through Give Directly and I do not need to overwork.

I want to buy a cow for rearing in the next few months which will in a later course be a source of income.

I was in brink of loosing my wife and family since i could not provide for them but when i started receiving the transfer, it helped in providing food for them.

I expect to be owning a cow in the next few months and to be living well with my family. I expect to be able to provide for my family comfortably.

I have a new goal to start a small business in town in order to be selling my goods and also hawking them in town for people who may not have come to the shop to see and buy and even supplying some shopkeepers who will be interested in selling the same goods to their customers within their shops.

With the change I am currently seeing in my life I have a feeling that my life is really great now and the growth has started unlike if was not receiving the amount from the give Directly.

For the next six months I see myself being able to operate my own farm and at then my poultry farming would have yielded to a point where I would be having at least some goats in my farm.

The type of farming I am currently operating is really different from the one I have been carrying out before.Poultry farming is a great farming which I have dedicated myself to and am sure it will really grow bigger.
