Even though I already have more than 10 chickens at home, I still feel that this is a new goal to establish a well-constructed coop that accommodates them all since we had been sharing the kitchen with them all along. This will as well allow me to expand and grow the hatched chicks within the coop unlike now where I keep selling them out to keep the number low. It is a beneficial project to me that I hope to see it help in raising school fees, and also settling other household bills.

I have time to bond with my family and also to work on my farm. My children have access to clean water. We are no longer exposed to water related diseases. I am so happy because GiveDirectly has changed our living standard.

I spent KES 2,150 of the first transfer on purchasing a Solar lamp for lighting up the house. I bought a smart phone at a cost of KES 12,000 for my daughter who joined university this year. This helps do her assignment in school. I bought a water tank at a cost of KES 18,000. This is for storing water for domestic use. I used to walk for a long distance to collect clean water.This has saved me time to do other chores at home. Finally I bought a sofa set seat, food and clothes for my family members. I am so grateful for the support because GiveDirectly has changed our living standard.
