What does receiving this money mean to you?
I plan to complete my concrete house which my husband started to build before his death and also seek after my health. I am a widow who lost my husband in 2019. Before his death, I have been sick and this sickness has cause my entire life to turn around. I'm not able to move freely because my legs hurts a lot. That's why I will use portion of my money to visit a good hospital to get proper treatment for my illness.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last 6months, I have been worried and sad because I'm sick and to provide for myself since my husband died has been a problem but today I am happy that Givedirectly has selected my town. Therefore, I will use my cash transfer to get better treatment and to complete my concrete house which my husband left with me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My main challenge now is my health. I am sick and I can't afford to go to the hospital to seek proper treatment and to also have a good meal everything because of the lack of money. I am surviving through the help of my family members.
