What did you spend your third transfer on?
I am not used to taking milk tea because I did not have the cows and I did not have the money to buy the milk. Black tea was the order of the day in my house. I am happy this will be a gone case soon as I spent part of my third transfer on buying two cows for milking. I also spent part of it to take my son for a mechanical course. I am happy he will be able to depend on himself after acquiring the skills. The remaining amount I spent on buying a water container being that my area is dry and there is always water shortages. This is my water reservoir. I appreciate the work done by GiveDirectly.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy two cows that cost me 35000 KES,two goats that cost me 6000 KES,I bought a solar lamp at 5000 KES,i bought a radio worth 2000 KES,I bought my personal items that cost me 150 KES.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference is that now have my own cattle and i no longer use a tin lamp as i have a solar lamp.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We are planning to spend our transfer on livestock and also on the renovation of our house's roof. The current roof of our house was made using second hand iron sheets, which are now old and leaking.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is building my own home in a society where having a home defines a man's worth.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is lack of food and money to pay school fees for our children. We practice subsistence farming, but what we get seldom takes us round to the next harvest.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am resting, after having completed the day's work.
