My life is totally different than how it would have been because I am now hopeful and happier. I am now a proud owner of a big piece of land that I have been aspiring to own for years but I couldn't afford it. Also very soon I will start supplying the remaining liters to the local dairy shops and generate an income. Through this business, I believe I will be able to pay school fees for my children on time.

According to me GiveDirectly does well by ensuring they enrolled every deserved household in my entire region. There was no discrimination of either, tribe religion, gender, or even age. The elderly and those living with disabilities could not be left us as well. Also, the GD staff have been so humble to us and also approachable. Therefore I do not see any part GD failed us.

I spent part of my second transfer on buying a bycycle at KES 5000. This will specifically help me majorly in carrying water. Also, I bought a dairy cow for a total of KES 15000. In addition, I bought a piece of land worthy of KES 18000. The previous one was no longer productive and there was a prolonged drought in my region, and I thought of an alternative permanent solution. With the remaining amount, I bought enough foodstuffs for my family.

In addition to this, I also bought a bicycle to help in carrying water because currently we are faced with water shortage in our area. I have to travel over long distances in search for water. This bicycle is convenient for this purpose. Lastly, I purchased a new mattress and did some shopping on clothing for my family.
