"Building for my family and I has be my dream, but due to poverty, I haven't been able to do that. Upon receiving this money, I bought two bundles of zinc and I also send the balance money for my children school fees. Just imagine me sending money for my kids for school fees and up keep. I felt like a real Dad, because I always giving excuses about me not having money just because of my condition.

"For me, GiveDirectly is doing extremely well and wanting them to continue do what they're doing. Because it has brought relief and some much happiness to my family. "
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
"My family and I live in a very tight house with just two rooms an as such, I want to build a larger one than the on I'm presently living in. For the coming year, my wish is to build and complete a modern house that will accommodate my entire family and even guest. That's why I'm thinking GiveDirect for the help. The all the money GD promise, I'm very sure of accomplishing this project the coming year."

Currently the challenges I am facing is the issues comfortable dwelling place because my current home is leaking.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months what brought happiness to was that when my lil sister who should have gone under surgery did not go under it really got me excited.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Upon receiving this grant, I will use portion of the transfer to build a dwelling house for my family and I . It has always been my dream to build a house but there is no money . The remaining transfers will be use to start up a business which will improve my living condition.
