Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Additional goal is to be able to buy an additional water tank. I plan to do this by continuing to be part of the merry go round that I am currently taking part in and buying it once I get my contribution. This will allow me to have enough supply of clean drinking water all year round and even make it easier for me to take care of my livestock as well. With my age, I can do very little especially now that my movement is limited due to health condition .
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Biggest difference in my daily life is the water tank that I bought from my merry go round contribution that I took part in. I am a person who is aging and for this reason, I am unable to perform most of the basic duties even the basic household chores like fetching water. It is for this reason that I decided to join a merry go round contribution that saw me accumulate enough money to buy a water tank and avoid the hard task of having to go to the river to fetch water. This has made it easier for me and my family members to perform the daily household chores without much difficulties.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months I expect my life to change in that I shall have already bought the water tank and be able to think about other valuable family investment like buying additional dairy cow. Right now, I only depend on the monthly transfer that I receive from Give Directly and help from my children whenever I need any financial assistance.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I have been able to pay for a tank at a nearby hardware. I have not paid for it fully but I am proud that I am almost done with the payment. Once I am done with the payment, I will have access to clean drinking water and save myself from the risk of contracting water borne diseases. I also have plans of buying a dairy cow from the savings made from GiveDirectly transfers. This will empower me financially and ensure that I do not sleep hungry now and in the future.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I shall have acquired a water tank and a dairy cow. Once I acquire these resources it will make my life easier and much more enjoyable than it is currently. Life for me turned for the worse when my husband died and I lost all the support that I used to get from him. I felt I was being a burden to my children by always asking them to help me out in fixing most of my problems. GiveDirectly transfers came in handy to help me meet most of my needs and I am looking forward to paying fully for the tank and buying a dairy cow that will improve my living standards in the long run.
