Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to plant tea, this will enable me to earn an income by selling them at the factory
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I built a better house for my family. I depend on the casual jobs in the village to earn an income to meet all the basic needs including the school fees payment for my children. I did not have an extra income to build a house .currently I'm so happy I have a decent and spacious house. My children have a good place to sleep as well as I can welcome visitors to my house because of enough space
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in that I will have started this project and horticulture farming as well. I will have two sources of income to support my family.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
In the early year 2000 I was arrested for allegedly roughing up an old man in the village. I stayed in a Kericho town cell for about a week and this ordeal direly affected me both physically and emotionally because I was assaulted by fellow inmates. It took the intervention of the villagers to vouch for me that I was innocent, and got released. Being mistaken and suffering for a crime I did not do is the biggest hardship I have faced in my life.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I have come home to my family with the assurance that they are happy too.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to use my first transfer of Kshs 25,000 to build a new house. With my family of 7, I find it challenging to accommodate all my children in our current tiny mud house. Besides, I have planned to use the second transfer to purchase a milking cow and grow tea. This will go a long way in sustaining our long term family needs like quality education for my children, food and decent clothing.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Through my casual jobs I have been able to take my four children to school. Furthermore, being able to provide them with food with the little money I get makes me a proud father. This is the achievement I am proudest of.
