What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy bricks worth 740,000 UGX and I also bought iron sheets 350,000 UGX and I also bought nails worth 100,000 UGX and I spent 200,000 UGX on paying labour. I am keeping the balance for other emergencies.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Givedirectly did well to send me the transfers because it has helped me alot solve very many problems. On the otherhand I have nothing bad to say about givedirectly.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is much better because I am completing my house and I also bought beddings for myself, compared to my situation before where I used to sleep on a mat like an animal.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying a few items such as, bicycle, radio, iron sheets, matresess, beds, cups, plates, source pans, and a solor. I also took my wife to hospital for treatment. The balance, I am keeping for emergency.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt very good and happy that I was among the chosen one to benefit.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, my life is now flexible, I am able to to go any where at any time since I have my personal bicycle. I am also connected and able to know what's happening around since I have my radio.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship in my life is my wife's disability.This makes it hard for her to fully contribute in other households responsibilities such fetching water and firewood when am not there at home.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning when all my family members have woken up healthy. A smile comes on my face when i see our daughter happy and ready to go to a primary school that she studies as I head with my wife to do garden work.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means buying a bicycle and cattle together with an ox plough for tilling our garden land.I plan to buy bulls that can help me till our garden land for crop growing in order to feed my family.
