How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I have built my house which I would not have done if I never received the transfer.Secondly I can now use the phone which I think I would have died without having one.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly has helped us build houses and others have bought plots of land and it has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for buying building materials( iron sheets,timber,sand,door) at 924000ugx,labour at 250000ugx ,transporting building materials at 400000ugx and the rest food.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that my standards of living have changed alot because I am very happy as I can now construct my iron roofed house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When my son informed that I had received a mobile money text message in my phone, I was overwhelmed with joy and happiness. I was too happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy 22 iron sheets and I cleared off some medical bills and debts that I had accumulated.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am faced with is inadequacy of money to build a better house, and to improve on my farming activity.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when I am seated with other members of the family and we are chatting.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to build an iron roofed house and if there is any balance, I will buy a bull to help in the farming activity.
