How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that, I have been able to acquire livestock that will be a source of income to me in the future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give directly has done well in giving out cash transfers to the poor. However, on the other hand; Gd has done bad in skipping some poor people in our community.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent part of my second transfer on treating myself and I have saved the balance.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have now acquired items that I had lacked. I feel proud and happy than ever before.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my first transfer, I felt so happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfers, I used 700,000ugx for purchasing three cows to act as an income generating activity. I also bought three pigs 150,000ugx for the same purpose. I then bought a bed, a mattress and clothes which costed 350,000ugx in order to improve on my living conditions. Because I did not have transport, I decided to purchase a second hand bicycle at 100,000ugx. the balance of 400,000ugx, I intend to use for paying tuition for my child.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is inadequancy of money to cater for my son's medical bills.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Evening time is my happiest part of the day. This is usually the best time i spend playing with my son.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that i will be able to buy land and invest in farming. This money will also assist in paying medical bills for my household.
