Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life is different now in that, I'm happy for GD transfers because I no longer worry like I previously did. This money has helped me solve a lot of problems I couldn't have managed on my own. For example I bought for my children beddings, clothes, shoes and most importantly I'm building a permanent iron roofed house. I have been taking care of my children single handedly because their father passed away long time ago. I thank GiveDirectly for changing my life and putting me into a certain level.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received this money, I was so happy that this money will help me solve most of my problems. My heart was filled with joy and I informed my children about the good news and we planned to build a house as a family.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I'm constructing a iron roofed house with my transfer and spent part of it on purchasing household items like mattress, bed sheets, shoes and clothes.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Recieving this money means that I will be able to provide for my childrens welfare including their educational needs.Since I am a widow it has been so hard to parent the children alone from the time my husband passed on.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am with my children and they are healthy by end of day.It puts a smile on my face knowing that the day has ended without any of them falling sick.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is that my children frequently fall sick which sometimes finds me when I dont have any money for their medical treatment yet even just feeding is challenging.
