How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am nolonger hungry here in my home. I have food and I know that I will have food as I managed to buy fertilizer with the help.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am very happy with how everything went. There is nothing that GiveDirectly did not do well in my opinion.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy 2 doors for the house as we as glasses for the windows. I bought a blanket as well as a bed so that we have a good place to sleep. I bought 3 bags of maize for food within the home. I kept some of the money so that I pay the builders when the constructions start.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was happy my family could have died with hunger but Givedirectly have saved life's from dying

In my life I have never managed to buy a bag of fertiliser but now I have through GD not just a bag but two and i know I will harvest more than ever and also It is a miracle for my family to have food in this season for the past years when we are in the first months of the year we suffer from hunger but not this year we are thankful

I spent the money on Iron sheets I want to have an ironsheet house so that I can stop thinking of where to get grass, I bought goats, fertiliser, matress and food

What does receiving this money mean to you?
We shall use the money for business especially fish and goats. The other money will go towards purchasing home supplies such as cooking utensils and beddings for my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy in the afternoon after doing morning chores and I have time to relax.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I always struggle to feed my family although my husband works hard to do the same.
