How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My house was built years ago, and it was at the back of my mind to maintain it since i didn't have resources. When I received the transfer, I saw it as an opportunity to do something i could not have afforded. I bought new Iron sheets for fixing the roof, paint, lime and cement for plastering and painting.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
We have been empowered financially, Give Directly has allowed us to spend the money all according to our needs. also to have an NGO that wants to help every member of the village, is a blessing and doesn't happen often in the life we ate living in today.

My plan is to use this money to purchase some fertilizers so that I harvest enough maize for both good as well for sale so that I have enough money for some basic items
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest whenever I can afford to have a nice meal with my family
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I find it difficult to find money for fertilizers as I am not working and I do not have a stable source of income. This has been affecting my maize production, leading to poor yields and consequent hunger
