It was in the morning around 7am , I was in the crop land I was planting beans then all of a sudden, I heard my phone ringing because I don't know how to use the phone my son helped to check and found that Givedirectly sent the donation . I was full of joy and smiles on that day. I thanked God for the miracle, It was my first time to receive a grant.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
We don't have enough fertiliser to use in our land , to be able to get inorganic fertiliser which is quite expensive we have to work for others to be able to pay for it and sometimes we are not able to get that money and we just use organic fertiliser which doesn't give enough harvest as we want. Me and my husband cyprien we are always sick we have to go to the hospital most of the times which is not easy for us to pay our bills, we had to sell all our small livestocks to be able to pay for the hospital bills.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Our cow have recently calved and this has brought us joy because now we will be able to get more fertiliser and our children are having milk to drink and they are growing healthy. We have recently received solar panel and now we are no longer living in the dark , we no longer have to worry about finding money to buy batteries to use.
What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
The first installment we plan to renovate our house and put on some cement , we also want buy other materials we need like furnitures, beds , matress, clothes and food to eat. And the balance we want to go to the hospital and see if we can get better treatment. The second installment we plan to buy a land and the balance we want to save it and use it for the future. Receiving this money is a chance of living better , we will reach to our development and we will no longer have to worry about paying our hospital bills.
