What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a larger portion of the transfer to built a new iron roofed house. I also purchased foodstuffs for family consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now have a house that doesn't leak. Apart from that, I can now harvest rain water for drinking at the door step.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it consoles the hearts of the poor. I wish GD could continue helping us for the rest of our lives.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on renovating my house and more so the roof which once built using old second hand iron sheets. They needed to be replaced as they looked too old and seriously leaking. Besides that, I paid school fees for my 2 children in secondary school, one in form one and the other in form two.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I feel I have experienced a very big change in my daily life since today I live in a very good house with my children comfortably settled in school.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I never had food and therefore it is this money, my first transfer that has been sustaining my life since I received it and through it, we have been able to afford 3 meals a day this has improved my life.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
The roof of my main house is too old to offer us the much needed security and therefore when I will receive this my upcoming second transfer, I will replace the old roof with the new one and clear school fees arrears for my children, I would be glad to see them educated and land a corporate job.
