What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money will help me finalise my house. I have built up to roof level. Because i earn little from casual labour, i build at a very slow pace. This money will help me speed up roofing and move in into a decent house before rains come. Currently i am using my mothers house. I earn as little as MK 3000 per day on average.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I havent had any joyful or happiness moments for the past 6 months. Special moments like that avery rare for me and my family. I strongly believe that food brings joy so the only joy i celebrate is whenever i have food on my table.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am a fisher man, and this period the lake is closed for any fishing activities and as such, i am struggling to find an alternative source of income. Thats my main challenge as of now.
