Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
"I was here when GiveDirectly met me. I remained here until my money from GiveDirectly hit my phone. I was very happy because as a young man who depended on hunting and walking up to 9hours to set traps, receiving such money without working for it made me to cry for out of joy and happiness. I decided to build my own house long time ago but I did not have the means to do so. Now that I have this opportunity from GiveDirectly I will not let it pass". he first thing that came to my mind was to build my house. I have left the bush hunting now".
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
This help from GiveDirectly has made significant difference in my life. What I was dreaming of long ago is about to happen, that to have my own house. This is something I could not do easily but GiveDirectly has empowered me".
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
"Because I have long desired to have my own house, I put the money in the saving club. Upon receiving all my transfer from GiveDirectly, I will put all together, start and complete my house".

What does receiving this money mean to you?
" My biggest dream is to live in my own house and go back to school. I am a motorcyclist but the money I get from the traffic is not enough to build a house and pay my school fees. I dropped out of school since 2014 because I did not had anyone to pay my school fees. When I receive the transfer from GiveDirectly, portion of it will be use to build a house, pay my school fees and the remaining will be use to establish a business where I could raise funds to care for my family".
What is the happiest part of your day?
" My elder sister sent me 15 thousands Liberian dollars and that got me excited. I added the money to my saving and bought a new motorbike".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of finance. I am a high school dropped out. I want to go back to school but I don't have anyone to pay my school fees".
