What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used a portion of my second transfer to buy 35 pieces of iron sheets, timber and nails which am planning to use in building an iron roofed house in my own compound which is more durable and do not leak. I bought a mattress, bedding and clothes for my children. The remaining amount, I spent to buy a sack of maize for consumption.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly keeps their promise and cannot be compared with any which has worked in our community. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have achieved my dream of building a bigger house which will soon materialize after buying the materials which I will use in building my new house and this makes me very happy

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I plan to spend my first transfer on purchasing food for my family. As we speak, the family is experiencing a very hard time full of hunger, following the poor harvest that was experienced in the region in the previous farming seasons. I therefore plan to purchase two full bags of maize grains which is most crucial in the family's feeding program.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received my transfer, I felt so happy because it would bring to end the suffering that the family was undergoing at that moment. The serious hunger that had truck the family would be no ore with the transfer.
