How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
We live in a better house, we are always smiling. We eat well. Life is better. That was impossible before GD came.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD gave us money with no condition. We use it the way we want. I dont think there is any thing i can see wrong with GD.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used the money to construct a latrine and to complete my house. Since they are nit giving anymore money i decided to start a small business. I trade in produce mainly coffee.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced in my life was being blind for the past 6 years and not being able to get an operation done earlier because of lack of finances.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is me and my family waking up healthy and me being on good terms with my husband(were we have no misundetstandings).
What does receiving this money mean to you?
To me receiving this money means improving my lifestyle where we(my household) shall also be able to get the basic needs of life without too much financial struggle and also renovate my house so that we also live in a descent place.
