What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought a glass door at 300,000 UGX, and sand at 100,000 UGX , then we also stocked our retail shop with goods worth 700,000 UGX, then I bought a solar panel and a radio all worth 480,000 UGX, I spent 20,000 UGX on transportation.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly gave us cash that enabled us develop and construct houses.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has become better because we now feed well, we have rennovated our house and we dress well. This is all because of the generosity of givedirectly. Had we not received that cash ; we would be leading a miserable life.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to restock my retail shop and then I bought uniform for my children,I paid school fees for my children,and paid off the loan that i had got,I bought a solar for lighting and charging phones.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I recieved my money I felt very happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my shop has grown because i restocked it and my daily income has increased,previously my daily income was very low and I was not realising any profit from my shop.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship in my life was a bout my father who was very poor man who could not afford to educate us his children since every thing he had, he sold all for treating our mother because whenever she gets pregnant she has to under go operation .
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is after having lunch I do have fun with my wife and children when they also come back from school.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will help me to increase the capital for my business of ready made clothes which I sell in bukedea market and other nearby markets and my interest will also increase.
