How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
In the last four months, I have been paying a loan with these transfers. I honestly would not have taken the loan to buy the cow. I took the loan to buy the cow then use my monthly transfers to pay back the loan. I am glad I have finished paying back the loan and I have my own cow. I would not have had the cow without the transfers.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to buy a water tank so that during the dry seasons in my area, we do struggle to get water and have to walk for a long distance to get water. Sometimes we buy but it is very costly than going for it. This is why I want to buy a water tank
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been longing to own livestock just like my neighbours for long now. I have done all I could to get livestock but due to low income, I could not. When I started receving these transfers, I started paying back a loan which I used to buy a cow. Right now it has reproduced and I have two. Apart from having the cows, I also get milk which I use for family consumption and sell some to raise an extra income.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I know my life will be different in that I will be having a water tank in the next six months. I want to use part of my monthly transfers to pay for a tank so that when the rainy season comes, I have enough water storage areas and not struggle for water as before in the dry seasons.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my life is different from how it was four months ago in that, I managed to do farming and got a bumper harvest. This has saved me a lot because I no longer do the hectic casual jobs that pay very low wages. I usually sell the harvest in order to meet my daily needs. This is the greatest relief ever, I can't imagine I will never do the casual jobs any time soon
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I don't have new goals at the moment. I spent a larger portion of my transfers in farming. I recently harvested my crops and still figuring out what amount I will get from the sales of these crops. So far I don't regret investing in farming because the crops did well and I am positive to get huge profits from the sales. I thank Give Directly for enabling me to do all these without taking loans no new goals
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life ever since I started receiving help from GD is that I have been able to do farming. I always wait until my neighbors have harvested their produce so that I can buy from them. This is usually very expensive and inconveniencing. I am glad that I was able to lease land and afford the farm inputs. I also managed to pay labor and plant in time. I feel proud when I see the sacks of maize I harvested. For the first time in my life, I have finally eaten food from my sweat
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months because from the sales I will have saved enough money to build a kitchen. I badly want to build this kitchen because my children are first approaching the adolescent stage and I don't have an extra room to accommodate them. The kitchen will also come in handy with storing my harvest in the next season. I will also be able to comfortably cook even during the reason seasons without messing my household items with soot.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Since I started receiving these transfers, I feel I have peace in my life. This is because I used to be stressed since I did not have any stable source of income to handle all my needs. I used to beg for help or borrow money which in most cases, I would not get. The debts also affected my friendship with my friends negatively. Since I started receiving these transfers, I have been handling my own issues without seeking help from others but only my husband. I find peace in my heart because of the transfers.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I wish to buy a gate. This is because I have fenced my home but I feel it is not complete without a gate. This will help reduce the number of cases I have with my neighbours when their cattle come to my home and destroy my tree seedlings.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life since I started receiving these transfers is that every month I have my money. This has helped me reduce the number of debts I had. I used to struggle financially since I only depended on farming as my only source of income. The income I used to get from farming was not enough to handle all my needs. With GD transfers, I have been having my own money and I no longer depend on my husband and debt to handle my issues. I used to bother my friends and my husband with my troubles which is not the case anymore. I am financially independent because of the transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I want to buy a water tank. This will help me save water during the rainy seasons. This is because in our area in the dry seasons we suffer a lot to get water and I would not want to go through the same struggle anymore. I want to take this opportunity and help myself.
