How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Currently, my life is different in that, my living standards have improved because I am sleeping in a permanent house that I completed with GiveDirectly unconditional cash transfer. previously, I used to sleep in a leaky grass thatched house that had holes made by rats.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by giving us money directly. This has solved the problem of corruption, bureaucracy and given us the liberty to spend it on anything we desire. I suggest that GiveDirectly should give additional cash transfers in order to complete activities that were done partly.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer worth UGX 1,632,000 for buying materials like cement, iron sheets, sand and timber. The same money supported me in feeding and paying labour for the builders.
