What did you spend your third transfer on?
We spent the third transfer to buy a second hand motorcycle that my spouse use for taxi within the village.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because I can be able to live comfortably in a bigger and more spacious house. Moreover, we get daily income from the motorcycle taxi that my spouse operates within the village. This has prevented us from constantly borrowing money from relatives.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well because they sent the transfers directly to the recipient who is able to spend it independently.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We are planning to spend our transfer on iron sheets, labour, timber and other things so as to build a larger house, because our current house is too small and the family is growing bigger.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is building our own house, even if it is small. We are proud of it, anyway.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing in my life is lack of food, because our farm is too small to produce all the food we need, and we don't have any meaningful source of income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I am bathing my baby.
